I'm Dara. I truly believe that we can all have beautiful, unique homes on any budget that make us feel comfortable and cozy!

My website is all about how I try to create a cozy, colorful, and welcoming home with DIY's, thrifting, and repurposing. I love to include unique vintage and antique finds in my home designs to create a collected feel.

I have a background in mechanical engineering and design and I have been crafting and painting for as long as I can remember. My husband and I are DIY renovating our way through our whole log home.

As we have been renovating our log home, my love for log homes of all styles has grown immensely. I enjoy learning about log cabin history and construction methods. I also enjoy showcasing log home love with my annual Log Home Tour Series.
