Arts and Crafts Inspired Log Home Primary Bedroom Renovation | One Room Challenge Week 8 Update

 

The One Room Challenge has come to a close after eight weeks! Unfortunately, our room is not done, but it will be soon!

Welcome to Week 8 of our Fall 2022 One Room Challenge®, our log home primary bedroom. We have renovated this room from the floor to the ceiling!

We have worked hard these past eight weeks to get the room this far. We removed wood shakes and popcorn from the upper walls and installed drywall, installed new wide plank pine floors, repaired the chimney, repaired chinking on the walls, replaced a window, installed wallpaper, and did lots of electrical work.

Unfortunately, Wayfair lost my bed. Like, they said they actually don't know where it is. I can't really reveal a bedroom without a bed, but here's the dimensions taped out on the wall lol.

We're disappointed that the room isn't completed, but looking back on the huge amount of tasks we accomplished brings it into perspective. 

As soon as the bed comes in and we get everything placed in the room, I'll update the photos!
