We are coming down the home stretch of our log home master bathroom renovation. This week is all about plumbing!
This is sponsored by Speakman Plumbing, but all thoughts and opinions are mine and my husband's (who is extremely particular about his plumbing!) Welcome to week seven of our One Room Challenge project!
Keep Up With All of the Updates for This Project
We are thrilled to be getting to the good stuff finally! Mike got all of the rough in plumbing done.
I am used to seeing and enjoying Speakman shower heads in hotels and using their faucets in commercial kitchens. Recently though, I discovered that they have tons of residential plumbing fixtures too!
Speakman has so many beautiful collections and finishes of fixtures, I had a really hard time deciding which ones to use. I was so torn between the gold, chrome, and black finishes. In the end, we wanted fixtures that would look sleek and modern to contast with our rustic wood walls and ceiling, so we chose to use the Speakman Lura line in chrome. It's kinda minimal, but it has character.
We will be adding in other oil rubbed bronze items to mix the sleek and rustic up a little.
This shower is so exciting for me. It has three shower heads! I had Mike put the heads in just for this picture so I could show the placement.
My side on the left will have a hand held shower head that can also slide up and down on a rail.
Like this...
...and Mike's side is a standard one, just mounted taller to accomodate his height.
Then there's a rain shower head in the middle.
Keep an eye on my Instagram, because I will have five of these Speakman rain shower heads to give away soon!
We will be installing the tile next and then all of the shower fixtures can be finally installed. And the toilet. This Speakman Glenwynn Skirted One Piece Toilet is going to be so easy to clean!
