Well, here I am jumping into another One Room Challenge, only this time I'm starting a week late! I was just starting to work with my oldest son to design a mature room for him when I realized it might be about time for the ORC. I checked, and thankfully registration was still open!

We recently rearranged who was in what bedroom upstairs to give all four kids their own room. This room is the largest and used to be a shared room. Now it's going to be the ultimate bedroom for our son and hangout space for him and his friends!

It's a nearly blank space due to the room switching. The band posters are staying, and that's about it.



Our vision for this space is loosely based on Mid-Century Modern style, just a cool space for the guys to hang out.

I asked ChatGPT for some renderings and it got pretty close to our ideas using charcoal gray upholstery.


We want to add some elements of green in the room, but we are undecided on exactly what they will be yet.

That's about how far we have gotten with this room design this week. Now we will be hustling to source everything we need and get this project done!
